My fourth match (and the ninth of the tournament) was France v. Uruguay in Lille. The (crowded) Metro got me close, only leaving about a 15-minute walk. Great seats.

Uruguay kept it close enough to be interesting until late in the game. France ultimately won, 27-12. That was closer that most people expected.
After the match, a short walk back to the Metro station, where I joined several thousand close friends in a line to get onto the Metro. The local Metro administration did a great job of setting up rope lines to keep things flowing smoothly and letting people into the station at just the right pace to fill each train as it arrived.
